Nice camera in camera and photo section

I took her to Mexico for a water adventure. We dived with him, snorkeled and swam with the whale shark. This way the boat jumps stayed stable and strong after all the jumps.

It works and it works well.

I chose this one because it has a built in tripod. The tripod is cheap but works. Other tripod grips are not designed for use in water, but this one is buoyant like other underwater grips. It even had enough room for my wedding ring while diving, I could probably put my house key in there too. Good value so far.

WILL NOT FLOAT WITH TRIPOD

Be careful when you buy this pen. if you have a tripod on a pod with a GoPro attached to the handle. he doesn't swim! I'm so glad I didn't expect him to swim in the ocean. Luckily I tested it at the pool the next day. I would be EXTREMELY upset if I saw my camera fall into the abyss. If you use this without a stand. it will float.

Doesn't swim with Hero 7 Black

Doesn't swim with Hero 7 New Black. I wasn't smart and wasn't wearing a bracelet when I first tested it. I almost lost my camera in a muddy lake when it immediately began to sink. I'm not sure if the newer cameras' slightly smaller size, heavier weight, and lack of a plastic body has resulted in the grip lacking buoyancy. I had to modify it with a piece of pasta to make it work. I got this one because of the tripod which works pretty well but I would look elsewhere as it doesn't do its main…

Does not float when the tripod is in the handle! Check before you rely on it!

It was a great grip. Test it before you rely on it to save your GoPro camera. We threw ours in the pool to check it out before heading to the lake. He drowned straight off the GoPro Hero 4 (no backpack or anything). I took the tripod out of the grip and it hovered normally. I need to test the LCD backpack on a GoPro. I'm not sure if it floats or not. Other than that I really like it and just need to make sure I get my hands on something when I might have to rely on the float to save my camera.
