Review on CURT 13355 Trailer 2 Inch Receiver by Steven Ross

I was delighted when this arrived on my doorstep in a sturdy (and still correct) box. I used to order clutches and they came in stacks of crumpled cardboard. Not this one! The hitch was well packaged and the screws and instructions were taped back. There were no dents or dents on the hitch. Installation on my 2003 Ford F150 was very easy. All I had to do was lower and remove the spare tire (just to have more room to work) and raise the hitch. All mounting points lined up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes in my frame. I give an installation hint. Rotate the mounting washers perpendicular to the frame. They are made out of the bolt hole one side longer than the other. Position the longer side on the outside of the truck. This will force the washer to press against the frame as the bolt is tightened and it will not slip.
