Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ CARBONX Carbon Printing Filament 1.75mm: A High-Quality Solution for Advanced 3D Printing by Charles Barney

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I am an old dark blue or blue fishing line.

I bought this thread as an alternative to NylonX because it was in stock. I threw it in a dehydrator to remove any form of moisture. I printed it with the same settings as NylonX. 265c and 80c beds. The thread clung thinly to the garolith. The adhesion of the layers was very poor. The thread is very fragile, which is not like typical nylon. Almost makes me think I have a PLA carbon fiber spool. I can take the end and literally break the pieces off.

Pros
  • Extruder: 240-270ยฐC. CarbonX CFR Nylon shows improved ply adhesion at higher temperatures.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
