Good if your not trying to get it tight.

Good idea and concept, but the point at where the plastic loop piece is and the stretch of the material just make this a no go for some projects. The Plastic loop want to turn on ya. I was planning on using these to keep my tarps rolled up as I'm in flatbed. They didn't work for my big tarps as the circumference was too big but it would have worked for my small tarps if it wasn't for the plastic loop. Every time I pulled to get them tight, the loop would turn. I would then have to hold the loop the keep it from turning to achieve the closure of the strap. I tried to use them for other things but ran into the same issues. I haven't tried them on anything else as I went back to the drawing board and picked a strap that had a metal loop and didn't stretch.

Pros
  • Multiple straps can be combined together to extend the length. Each reusable cinch straps has a perfectly designed triangular tongue piece, which can quickly and easily pass through the buckle from the bottom of the buckle ring, and then back onto itself for a secure hold.
Cons
  • The straps have a strong chemical odor that takes time to dissipate, potentially causing respiratory irritation
