Review on Dorman 746 148 Door Lock Actuator by David Lesperance

Easy to install and works great for the first 3 months but last month it started making a strange noise when I tried to open the door on the 99 f150. Sometimes when it made a noise, it didn't open all the way, so I pushed the button twice. Now it won't open my door, it just makes a grinding noise when I try to open it. At first I thought it was just stuck between the door skin, but once I removed it and the latch mechanism was loose it still didn't work and just creaked when I tried to unlatch it. The locking mechanism works fine by hand, so I know it doesn't. I am disappointed in a product that advertises pre-testing but is still only 4 months old.
