Review on Linksys Business LAPN300: Reliable Wireless Wi-Fi Access Point - Single Band 2.4GHz N300 with PoE Capability by Antonio Scisson

This is a very nice AP.! I bought this to help my Linksys AC1200 (EA6300) wireless router which has very poor wireless coverage. This access point allows you to connect via 10/100/1000 Ethernet using PoE or the included power adapter. The range is excellent and setup is actually pretty easy. You can set up and/or manually configure this device to suit your network needs in minutes using the web-based Quick Connect utility. The wi-fi coverage is amazing, we have people in the parking lot receiving the wi-fi signal with excellent strength. The device is quite large, but fits in very well with the office environment. It looks like a big fire alarm. We hooked this up to our gigabit poe switch and they all connect with no issues. Its 2.4GHz channel has a much longer range than the 5GHz channel, but that's to be expected, but the 5GHz channel coverage isn't ridiculous. We have several iPads running on the 5GHz channel and they work on the same band as 2.4GHz which is what we need. So far the hotspot seems to be very reliable and we haven't had any problems so far. We can't make any statements about the durability at the moment, as we only installed it a few weeks ago. I definitely recommend this product, which I think is more user-friendly than the Ubiquiti hotspot, which seems to have a slightly more complex interface. I'm glad we decided to try this hotspot for the first time.
