They are cheaper and give more light than LEDs here https://amzn.to/3gpnf3J but if you want to be as energy efficient as possible go to LEDs. I personally don't use this light enough to work on the juice they consume, but I'm certainly annoyed by the relative darkness and flickering of the LED lights. To each their own, but I've linked the best of the bunch, and these halogens are a nest for their category too.
