I liked the idea but found the units extremely unreliable. I ordered two packs and tried both at the same time. One stuck in a Boston ass, the other in a bunch of ribs. Although one seemed to be holding the "signal" more stable than the other, both were unable to keep in touch and report it to my I-Phone. I have my I-Phone 12" literally right behind the smoker lid and one of them instantly disconnected as the other kept turning on and off which was useless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THE YET MARKET I returned to my trusty wire probes.
