I'm not so sure about the accuracy of the outside temp. The main problem is losing your Bluetooth connection over 15 feet away. You must be near the grill with a phone to read the temperature.

My original rating was 5 stars but I am revising it to 2 stars due to the lack of response from support and customer service. There is no phone support so I emailed 3 times with no response. The problem is that after using it twice, the device does not sync with Bluetooth. I've tried several different devices, uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail. The battery is fully charged. I will use Revain to return both units I have purchased.

The product is very nicely packaged and the application is good. The problem is that the temperature sensors are not working as advertised. I bought a set of 2 sensors. The Bluetooth range of both sensors was less than 10 feet when used in a smoker. After just two uses, the sensors stopped connecting. I will return this product. Disappointing as I loved the concept and really liked the form factor - it's a shame this company didn't fully tweak the product before shipping.

I liked the idea but found the units extremely unreliable. I ordered two packs and tried both at the same time. One stuck in a Boston ass, the other in a bunch of ribs. Although one seemed to be holding the "signal" more stable than the other, both were unable to keep in touch and report it to my I-Phone. Really fun to use - I love that I can leave it cordless in the meat, on the grill. The features that tell you when to take it off the grill and how long to let it sit are great. The reason I wouldn't recommend this is because I need to be practically near my grill to have a wireless connection. I can't be in my house (about 10 feet from the grill) and keep in touch. One of the probes began to act immediately. I emailed an issue to their support and received an email saying it will take 3-5 days to get a response due to high email volume.
