That's a beast. Heavy duty powder coated steel. Mounting holes are drilled for studs 16" apart (my walls are set to 24" apart so a slight adjustment to the installation method was required). As some reviews have pointed out, not all skis hang perfectly. However, this shouldn't stop you from buying one. I use neoprene pads on hangers and they work great. Reinforces contact and prevents metal damage to the ski.
