Review on Lodge Pre-Seasoned Deep Skillet, 10.25-inch Cast Iron (Black) by Dee Rawls

So I received this Lodge pan yesterday. I'm no stranger to cast iron pans, I've been using them since I started cooking with my parents 30 years ago. Manufactured by Lodge, these frying pans will last the rest of a person's life with proper care. I never wash my pans with soap, just wipe them down with some water while they're still hot, gently scrape the bottom with a wooden spoon, break up bits stuck to it, then throw them away unless I'm using one to do so make sauce. I then scrape lightly with a chainmail cleaning pad, then wipe and re-oil. I mostly use coconut oil. These cast iron skillets are also so versatile that they can be used on almost any heat source, they can be used on the grill, in the oven, over a campfire, it doesn't make much difference, they work. They are also one of the most useful utensils ever made. I highly recommend Lodge products.
