This is the second time I have bought the same shoes for my four year old. The first pair was too big and I went back to buy a size smaller. The "pair" of shoes I got the second time seemed fine to me until I put them on my child's feet and noticed that the strap on one of the shoes was 1/4 inch from where it was he should have been the strap to barely have enough velcro. And to be honest, 1/4 inch doesn't make much of a difference in adult shoes, and I wouldn't care if it was "off" on some non-critical part of the shoe, but little kids' shoes would have done so much to one of them .
