Never straightens out perfectly

So disappointed. I wanted to enlarge my pup's leather collar because it's an expensive designer brand and they don't make it bigger than we bought it. I saw this product and decided I would just add an extra hole to it. Then my puppy could enjoy the collar for a year or more before he has to hang it up for good. It took a while to line up perfectly, but when I applied pressure it eventually shifted and everything was CENTERED with a noticeable margin. The collar still works but I couldn't try to resell it now even if I wanted to, it's embarrassingly off center! Not a very accurate product.
