This is a pretty decent shower speaker. I had a nice (but oddly a bit dated) speaker from Chromen, but the sound always seemed a bit muffled due to the speaker being sandwiched between the window and the back of the unit. This DuoTen speaker has a very clear sound and can get pretty loud. Because its speaker is outward-facing, there's no muffled quality and it's clear as day. I really like the red retro LED display. My only major complaint is that the bass is weak, which is pretty normal for any speaker this small, but that's not always the case. Personally, I find the button layout less intuitive, but it can take some getting used to. Dedicated volume buttons instead of volume and skip buttons that require long and short presses to differentiate between functions would be better. It has LEDs with multiple settings, but I'm pretty indifferent to them, especially since there is no orange (my favorite color) among the 7 colors; I also routinely frantically wash my head and body while using it, which means my eyes are usually closed rather than open to enjoy the light show. A minor complaint is that due to the supposed presence of Bluetooth 5.0 it often cuts out the first 1-2 seconds of the next song being played, and when paired with an iPhone 12 Pro Max with the latest software updates this isn't more than 8 feet away. Sometimes I wonder how many times I've come across cheap Bluetooth products made in China, this item may actually be Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.2 and while they may have released a version that is actually 5.0, they package old 4.0/4.2 in boxes with the declared 5.0. Overall good but could be better.
