This tool is good for the price but not big enough. I think the slotted head section is long enough but definitely not wide enough and I don't see how it can flip anything unless it's a small fried egg or something. Certainly not a piece of fish. But I think it would be better if it was used as a deep frying tool rather than a food turning tool. I found the handle perfect to hold and the length was just right. I don't like how the tip of the tip is curved at such a small hard angle. It should curve at a much softer, longer angle to allow food to slide more easily onto the flatter, slotted part of the head. And even better that it doesn't have a curved tip at all. I paid $6.99 and now I see it's $5.39. So the price is good for the overall quality, but the size of the slot width and the slight bend angle make it unsuitable for me. I obviously wanted something different since I'm a regular home cook and don't know how to use this tool properly. But then again I see where this would work well for turning food in a deep fryer and should only be advertised as such. It would also be helpful to state the dimensions in inches so that I don't have to look up a conversion!
