I was really hoping this bag would be great when it arrived. The quick release straps make it easier to install than the old Fox brand I had and it has a more aerodynamic shape so I think it might help with fuel economy. That's where the positives end. This bag is NOT, I repeat, NOT weatherproof. Any type of rain, from a drizzle to a downpour, will seep through this bag and soak your pockets. The main reason for this seems to be a poor quality zipper that didn't close. There's a weatherstrip covering the zip, but it pops open immediately the moment the car hits anything remotely close to freeway speed, exposing an unsealed zip for water to seep in through. To be fair, the bag is large, I easily fit 5 suitcases and 3 folding bedchairs. It would be nice if you could be 100% sure that the weather is good throughout the ride. Don't risk it in the rain.
