In general, the tool is not bad, it measures exactly as accurately as stated - ± 0.03 mm and not a thousandth better. Don't even look at its "resolution" of 0.01mm. The zero point sometimes shifts up to 0.05 mm, but for such cases there is a reset button. The interface is convenient, but it is difficult to make it bad. The battery cover is very disappointing. To replace the battery, you need to remove a small plastic cap with a reverse contact, which is held on by two very short screws. It takes a LOT of effort not to break the thread. Why not do it on a regular snap-on latch is a question. If the thread breaks, then contact with the battery is lost and the entire tool turns into an expensive heavy ruler. If you are an engineer and you need a really reliable and accurate tool, it is better to invest in something more expensive. I bought it to take measurements from everyday objects and make models for 3D rendering, plus domestic use.
To give a better sense of my experience, I've included some pictures.
