Review on Exo Terra Complete Internal Filter by Jessica Hutchinson

In the beginning this filter was great. However, to be the only filter in a 40 gallon single RES tank, it MUST be cleaned about every 3 days to keep the water clean. The replaceable activated carbon filter was very difficult to remove. I also cut my finger badly once. And once I really started to doubt this filter and buy a new one or an extra one, the fact that it stopped working reinforced my decision. And I received the filter on February 11th. So after 3 months and almost a week he died with me. Considering it was only $16 I figured I would get over 3 months for my $16. I seem to have been wrong. So I have to go shopping.
