I bought two packs of these straws, one in July 2017 and the other in April 2018. I have nothing bad to say! I use them at home when drinking iced drinks (I have sensitive teeth) but they also work well in breakfast smoothies. I love that each straw has a built in "holder" or plastic ring at the bottom. This will prevent the straw from falling out of the lid. It's also helpful when it's time to wash them! The retaining ring prevents the straws from falling through the holes in the dishwasher's cutlery basket. The brush that comes with the kit isn't bad, but I ended up buying this one which is way better: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QQYDJZ2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie= UTF8&psc=1. no cracks, chips or chips, but I don't chew them either so I'm sure that helps.
