Great bike chain, perfect fit for my bike. I made a few mistakes with the first one I bought, so I ended up buying another one and it worked. At the same time, it is not recommended to reuse the headpins already on the chain when cutting the chain. I reused the rivets and had no problems. What I do is, before I reinstall the other part of the chain, I put a drop of oil on the chain rivets, wipe off the excess, then carefully insert the rivet with a chain tool and reinstall to make sure the rivet is in contact. Then, with the rivet in place, I bend the chain slightly and see if it rolls like everyone else. If there is any advice I would give to others, buy chain rivets when reconnecting the chain, never use unnecessary rivets that are already attached to the chain, but as I said, I've had no problems with the method used I have used. But I do agree with the manufacturer and other mechanics that it would be wise to replace the chain or just make sure you buy new connecting rivets that fit your chain when you reconnect the links. into the rear derailleur, when you pull the derailleur down, put the chain over the top pulley and then under the bottom pulley. What I like about this thread is the master link or quick link. They connect easily and it's even easier if you have master stackers. I used the Park Tool MLP 1.2 tool. This makes the job much easier and faster than using needle nose pliers or your hands. Chain rate can be confusing, it can usually be a guess. In contrast to some manufacturers, KMC actually gives you the tightness of the chain on the packaging. If you use products from the same manufacturer as Shimano, that manufacturer will tell you to only use Shimano products, you can, but it's also possible to mix and match products. I highly recommend this chain, it's easy to use and install and very affordable. Highly recommended!
