These are the recommended filters for the humidifier I bought, so I haven't tried the others. Of course they do their job. At first I tried turning them every week and that helped them fall apart and destroy the cheap plastic mesh cage they were trying to use to make them last longer. But over time I realized that if you fill the humidifier up with bottled water it will last longer and doesn't need to be rotated - however this was EXTREMELY expensive as I am adding up to 2 gallons of water per day. Avoided tap water/chemicals and bought a new filter about every 6 weeks.
