Bought this mop to replace Bona which my daughter broke. This mop is much stronger than any other lightweight link handle mop I have used. These sections are actually screwed together, not with clip knobs. The handle doesn't bend at all! It's advertised as adjustable, but at 5ft 3in I use the full length of the handle. I don't see where the possibility of customization can be considered here. Unlike the Bona mop head, there are two Velcro strips that run the full width of the mop and I have been able to use all of my Bona brand disposables successfully. The washable pads work very well. Some have complained about head turning. There are protrusions in the pivot mechanism that I plucked off with pliers. These ribs prevent true free rotation and cause the head to lift when mopping. I can' firstly, I don't know why they're in there, but you're going to want to get rid of them. fragile, and it's not as strong as a pen. Microfiber pads and honestly I can clearly see the difference between the two styles shown. I don't like cleaning microfiber as I find it less absorbent and the fiber lints and becomes "sticky" almost immediately. It catches dust particles and clumps of hair/fur. So! Haven't used the pads yet so can't specifically rate them. With proper care, this mop will last a long time. However, if this reversal collapses in a year, the price will reduce its severity.
