This worked great for me. Windows 10 recognized the USB adapter com port immediately without adding any drivers. According to other comments you must have a way to ground GPIO0 during reset/power on if you want to upload new sketches to the Arduino IDE. I soldered a toggle switch between GPIO0 and GND and a button between reset and ground on the USB adapter. 20 minutes under UV light, that's just an incredible price of less than ten dollars.
