I bought light bulbs because I wanted them for a 4 bulb kitchen light. The last bulbs we had were weak so I bought them. THEY DON'T WORK IN WATER We put them in a shop and plumbing (non-scone) and they didn't heat up, smell or go out, overall a good bright bulb, I've requested a return but cancelled
