
I removed eight gap plates from the front edge of the G-450 and used eight bits total. At first I thought my electric screwdriver would wear out the bits too quickly, so I tried my speeder and the bits still wore out just as quickly. I then tried using valve lapping paste to see if that made a difference and it only helped keep the bit from slipping off the actuator. Aerospace is the only industry that uses torque driven screws, so there really is no point in using torque bits that aren't impact resistant.
