with it. I got it for my husband because his favorite color is green and this year we went camping. I've never used the crank but it totally works. The instructions say to spin 3-5 minutes I believe but it works much less time. My 3 favorite features: reading light (you have to lift the solar panel to use it fully), flashlight (because I never had batteries for me) and USB port (because I take pictures with my phone when we camp but the battery is dead , so I can load it now). I'll probably never use the battery option because I hate buying batteries, but the solar panel and crank will come in handy.
