the flat side worked better than the v side maybe just the user. If the old glaze is still attached to the windows, use the flat side and do your right. I believe the v side would be ideal if you were starting with a window with no existing glaze to get in the way. A 2 inch spatula could have been used easier to press the icing in place. This is a single purpose tool.
