The right tool for the job

Good value for money. This tool has almost turned me into a glass glazing expert. Well, maybe a gifted amateur. Easy to use, glazing is much faster, at least for me. Having the right tool for the job increased the quality of my work.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Scraper - Glazing Strip Removal

The square allows you to remove the glazing strip between the frame web and the flat surface. It is recommended to use a paint thinner after the first scratch to finally clean the tape, sticky residues are removed much faster and easier. Wipe the paint thinner several times to dissolve the glue.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Something Else

Exactly what I needed.

Old windows with wooden sashes - painted over, without sashes, crumbling putty, etc. Ugh! Bought to remove/redo putty on the windows themselves - haven't been but found today that it's perfect for cleaning the channels where windows slide up and down (or not in this case) . Probably just a spatula, but the angle is perfect.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

tool for the job

the flat side worked better than the v side maybe just the user. If the old glaze is still attached to the windows, use the flat side and do your right. I believe the v side would be ideal if you were starting with a window with no existing glaze to get in the way. A 2 inch spatula could have been used easier to press the icing in place. This is a single purpose tool.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • reliability
