Review on π Zircon i65 Stud Sensor - Battery Operated Center-Finding Stud and Metal Finder with Live Wire Detection by Jose Guevara
You have to buy zircon and this is the cheapest if you can find the center of the spikes!
If you're browsing through several stud finders and wondering which one to pick, let me simplify it for you. 1) Zircon owns the technology patent. So I would opt for fakes. 2) This is the cheapest model with an LCD screen that can be used to determine the center of the ledge. So, between the i65 and the HD70, since that was a few bucks cheaper I would go with this one. Must have tools to find bolts for TV mount, electrical box, mounting heavy painting, artwork, vacuum etc etc.
