It worked perfectly on my Dometic 510 toilet. The improved brass shaft should hold up well. I lubricated the o-rings on the shaft with silicone grease so they slide without nicks and seal better. After assembling the sphere, I sprayed it and the entire drain pipe with silicone spray. I also put silicone spray on the ball seals to keep everything well lubricated. Now it holds water like a champ and doesn't leak. This was part of a complete rebuild where I replaced the vacuum breaker and water valve assembly and upgraded the sprayer with a much improved hose. I also had to fix the water damaged floor I built under the toilet to make it 16 1/2 inches high which is a big improvement. , the pipe to the back of the toilet was too short. I used about 1.5" 5/8" ID clear nylon tubing to tighten the plastic hose and added about 2" 1/2" CPVC and a couple of hose clamps. to plug everything together and now it works as intended. BTW, the plastic pipe leading to the toilet is not a standard size CPVC, PEX, or PVC, so none of those connections would work. I added a hot water pipe to my bidet toilet. Although this is a budget bidet, it's great and saves a lot of toilet paper in the tank. So now my 22 year old toilet is working like new again, the toilet is raised which makes it more comfortable for me, now I have a bidet and everything looks fine.
