I should have listened to other reviews that said they couldn't register their product. I tried to register two of these Western Digital SSDs and both were invalid. I contacted WD support and provided all the information requested (receipt, serial number, part number and their photos). After a week I got no response from WD so I contacted support again. They told me I already submitted the form and they are working on it. Here I am 15 days later and WD still hasn't confirmed the serial numbers. If I can't register these products, the warranty has expired and I can't get support for them. So you will be sent back. I find 2 weeks to be an unacceptable length of time to verify the authenticity of WD products.
