I really like my Milwaukee pH55 pH meter and use it for home brewing. But I hate the price - it's really not that far off the price of a new meter I think (about half the cost of a new meter). And you practically need to replace it at least once a year (maybe more often). I'd love to see what Milwaukee can do to keep the price of these electrodes down without sacrificing quality - they're just too expensive for home use. But since the right pH value is important for my wort, I bite the bullet and grit my teeth every time I have to change the electrode.
