Review on Rectangle Disposable Plates Posh Setting by Russell Robertson

I'm Palm Leaf Conversion

We had a lot of fun and switched from paper plates to more durable plastic plates a long time ago, but then a friend introduced me to palm leaf plates and I was an instant convert. Sure, they're a lot more sustainable than paper or plastic, but the best part is you don't sacrifice functionality or aesthetics for the sake of the environment. The plates are beautiful, each with their own natural texture and they are almost as strong as plastic in the sense that they are very rigid, won't get wet from wet food and can be cut with a knife. The size of these plates is also very good for large portions (they look like small plates). While several reviewers mention reusing, I suppose it's possible, but I'm not comfortable with that (although I have no problem leaving leftovers on top and popping them in the fridge or microwave). If you treat them like disposables - which the manufacturer is suggesting - these Posh Settings cymbals are a little pricey at just under $0.95 each (which is why I removed the star) - there are Palm cymbals of the same size and quality available at Revain which are slightly cheaper (for example I see 50 10" square hand plates today for $35.99 which is $0.72 each). All in all a very good product.
