It was interesting - not at all what I expected. I might have been thinking more of a conditioner consistency, but it felt more like a serum for your hair. I really liked the cooling menthol and it felt great on my hair. I don't think it made my hair silky smooth after washing (I applied the shampoo and then that while skipping the conditioner). However, as I started blow drying and styling my hair, it became smoother and softer. It was just normal, after the one treatment I had I thought it was nothing special. It says not to use this product immediately before coloring your hair. Probably because it covers your locks.
