Will it support your full frame telephoto DSLR? Probably not, but what it's designed for is great. Pros: + When folded, the tripod legs form a cute little handle. + Legs extend quickly and form a stable platform. + The head can be quickly fixed in several discrete positions. :- It's not the most compact folding tripod, but it's certainly quicker to set up and more stable than others I've used. I actually bought it to use with a laser line level and it works great and is much faster than a full size tripod. If you want to avoid those selfie sticks, a smartphone photo clip works great.
