Review on Prime Line Door Strike - Defender Security U 10385 - Ideal for 5-1/2 in 🚪 and 6 in Hole Spacing's on Dead Latch and Deadbolt - Steel with Satin Nickel Finish by Don Taniguchi

I bought this after my neighbor kicked in his garage door and he wanted to upgrade it before I became a victim. I didn't realize how little security (read zero security) my latch offered until I started installing this product. Installation took about 30 minutes as I had to dig a recess for this larger unit. After the desired notch was cut, it was quickly assembled. I highly recommend using an impact wrench as the included bolts are 3 inches (or longer) and you can fatigue or snap them off with a standard or cordless screwdriver. I am writing this review in connection with purchasing a second set for my other doors.
