Great lens for travel! Yes, and for reporter work is very good. Pros: Great model! after the whale - just a delight! real sharpness, beautifulcomlors, aperture. My second lens is a canon 70-300, so the difference in aperture ratio is very noticeable, although that one is not bad for its purposes. here is a photo for this lens Different cons: Itβs very heavy :) but when I tried to use someone elseβs canon 50 / 1.8, which is much lighter, I returned to my own one a day later - itβs better to carry a load than bite your elbows that you canβt bring a distant object closer.
