Five boards were joined together and secured in an anti-static bag with foam tape. There were no instructions, but using them is pretty intuitive - if only they worked. I connected the module to the breadboard, connected the 9V power supply and saw no sign of life. I thought there was a switch there so I put it in the locked position but nothing changed. I hooked up a multimeter and checked that the adapter is getting power, but there is no power at any of the outputs. I replaced the module with another one and this time the green LED came on. I checked the voltage on each of the outputs and all the voltages were within specification. Given these results, I tested all 5 modules and found that 2 of them were DOA. The other 3 worked great. I only needed one, so I didn't insist on it with the seller. These modules provide the ability to power the breadboard rails at 3.3v, 5.0v or off. You can also power the module yourself by connecting it to the appropriate connectors on top of the board. I built a use case to power an Arduino MKR WiFi 1010 (3.3V) with a single rail and a continuous servo motor (5.0V). with a different rail. The servo signal cable was connected to one of the Arduino's digital outputs. This allowed the system to be powered at full power with the required voltage. My rating is based on how well each of the 5 modules worked. 3 worked fine; while 2 didn't work at all.
