The warning labels were there when the box arrived with a 1000ft wire spool. It was thrown into a giant box (24 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 12 inches high) with two plastic airbag packing straps that popped out and deflated. Keep in mind that this is a 1000 foot (8" x 10") spool of copper wire and weighs almost 20 pounds. The box was torn during shipping because the spool was dangling. The cardboard/printed cardboard spool is torn, bent and frayed - I can only assume so - from bouncing around in the box. I studied the wire and the comments of other reviews were confirmed. The copper wire seems good - 14 gauge, but the plastic coating/insulation is very stiff, hard and inflexible. When I looked at the spool I saw at least one visible break in the plastic and exposed copper wire, and the wire is still on the spool! Other reviews have reported broken insulation and exposed wires during cable installation. I'm not going to pay that much money and start installing 800+ feet of cables that I know are already broken. I chose this gauge and wire length to avoid breaking problems and wasting all my time trying to find a break in an 800+ foot wire fence. I do not recommend this product, especially for the price they charge.
