Second in line, same broken plastic part

This is a great idea and would work if everything was metal. The first thing I came across was a plastic nut that allows you to adjust the height of the headlights, it broke. I thought it was a marriage so I went back to get a surrogate. The second one broke during installation, just broke off. Then I realized they were plastic screws. There is a triangular head at the end, which immediately popped out (see photo). I got it working with my current settings, but now it can't be adjusted when I need to move my kids to a large aquarium.
