Second in line, same broken plastic part

This is a great idea and would work if everything was metal. The first thing I came across was a plastic nut that allows you to adjust the height of the headlights, it broke. I thought it was a marriage so I went back to get a surrogate. The second one broke during installation, just broke off. Then I realized they were plastic screws. There is a triangular head at the end, which immediately popped out (see photo). I got it working with my current settings, but now it can't be adjusted when I…

Great stand, best for heat lamps

This is one of the best things I've bought for my bearded dragon tank. It was upgraded to a very large tank and a light bulb was not enough to keep the tank lit and heated on one side. And I'm always skeptical about putting the heating pad directly on the wire. It was easy to assemble and keeps my lights in place. I can customize it easily and I love it. The only downside I'd like to point out is that if you have to remove the stand entirely just because it has a small foot that sits underneath

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Doubtful

so the reason is my book didn't get the full five stars for the following reasons: 1) the amount of money I paid for it definitely doesn't seem like the one it's worth , I honestly think it couldn't be more than $25.2). One of the lever bolts that are tightened to keep the lever at the desired height was half snapped off and I had to super tape the lever to keep it from wobbling and/or preventing the light from tipping over and hitting the top of the cage. To be honest I was a bit disappointed…

Love it! Just a HUGE problem.

Recently ordered, fits very well in my ball python habitat. I have two lamps that I wanted to hang just above the top grate to keep the tank from overheating. Technically, this product is perfect. Two hangers for two lamps that I have. The only issue I have, which is VERY frustrating, is that the product was missing a screw to adjust the height of the rods you hang your light from. That way, one of my lights hangs perfectly a few inches above the habitat and the other just sits on top of it…

Serious manufacturing defect

I had the same problem as the last five reviews. One of the plastic screws had sheared off in one of the levers. The pull nut wasn't even in the box so it was either cut before the packaging process or the hole wasn't made at all. Your production machines must have had problems and are currently delivering a bad batch. All in all, I paid $30 for a lamp socket. same party. Aside from the plastic bits, this is a good little holder. And I don't understand why people complain about the clamp's leg.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not for everyone. - Heat Lamps and Terrarium Mats

It's made by slipping it about 1 inch under the rim of the aquarium and then tightening the top, practically pressing it against the wall of the aquarium. Problem: I cannot lift the fish tank and slide my leg under the tank while holding the fish tank with one hand and the stand with the other hand. I personally find it a terrible design, not only for that reason, but also because the tank is just resting on the leg, and to me it looks like disaster waiting in the wings. Maybe placing it under…

Great stand but plastic thumbscrews require some work

At first I was surprised at how much the stand fits into such a small box. The stand itself is quite nice, metal construction for poles and light bracket. Extensions are included to increase the height as well as the length of the "mounting" bars. Installation was easy, legs are included to raise the tank if needed to allow the bracket to slide under the tank. The bracket is then clamped onto the tank to keep the double sided tape from wearing out. Mine has a Flukers ceramic dome with a ceramic

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
