Review on Enhanced Performance KYB KG4745A Gas-a-Just Gas Shock by Jon Johnson

Made in Japan - Replacement Parts

This is my first KYB product and I am very happy with it. I bought two of these to fit my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara. If someone hasn't read the description, it's a shock per order. So if you need two, you must order a quantity of 2. That being said, for the cheap price listed in I was not disappointed with what I received. Not a single detail I needed for the installation was missing. Each product comes in a sealed box (You're probably reading this and wondering why I'm talking about a sealed product. Well I've read reviews of other products and customers have posted horror stories about receiving pre-opened boxes that are missing washers and screws. ), everything is boxed and sealed including all your nuts, rubber plugs and washers. The shock absorbers are made of metal and not cheap plastic or aluminum. I did a magnet test to see the material it's made of in case anyone was wondering. It's durable and not cheap. It's also a genuine Japanese product and not made in China, in case that matters to you as a consumer. Perfect fit for my car and so far after driving them I haven't had any issues. * Please note that instructions are provided in Japanese only, English instructions are NOT included. However, you can just search YouTube's installation instructions if you think you need them. I literally take my Grand Vitara everywhere and these dampers can handle stress so I highly recommend them to my consumer friends. But like I said, it was a pretty easy install on my machine. It probably only took 30 minutes to install both rear shocks, so not bad at all.
