I hate leaving negative reviews like this, but this product doesn't work for me at all like I would expect from a product with mostly positive reviews. After connecting the remote to the garage door opener (which was quite difficult given the simplicity of the system but possible), I was disappointed that the range was only 4-6 feet. It's not enough to get to the sensor outside of my garage, let alone in the car or anywhere else in the driveway. The battery I used was fully charged and all other remote controls that I have for the door work without a problem over longer distances even without a full battery. I don't know if the product I received was defective or if I missed something during installation but overall I am very disappointed with my purchase and intend to return it if I can find all the packaging.
