Review on ECCPP Passenger Telescoping Replaceme 2007 2016 by Shawn Pollock

Great alternative to Toyota OEM

After looking for additional mirrors for my 2010 Rock Warrior I pulled the trigger on this pair. I'm trying not to skimp on my truck but it's half the size of the OEM and they are perfect. There is no installation guide, but everything is simple and there are many online videos. I got them to replace the clip on the towing mirrors to tow our trailer. They contain replaceable 10mm nuts in case one of them falls into the door cavity. The tools I used were a 1/4" x 10mm socket, wrench, small screwdriver and plastic molding remover. Insert top trim triangle, screw behind door handle, screw on armrest, open door panel from all sides and trim lift off from the top.I snapped the panel in place to hold it, disconnected the electrical connector at the bottom, loosened the 3 nuts, ripped off the old mirror, installed the new mirror, carefully until you tighten one nut, tighten 2 more nuts that Hook up electrical Plugs to new mirror , reassemble in reverse order, do other side My DC Tundra didn't have running lights or turn signals in the stock mirrors, but these plug and play tow mirrors have lights and work great Lights up as parking lights even with remote start Folding and expanding are a bit stiff but I get it imagine it getting easier. There is no vibration in the glass while driving. In general a good buy.
