ECCPP Passenger Telescoping Replaceme 2007 2016 Review

This item will NOT fit my 2010 Toyota Tundra. A correct fit is not possible due to a manufacturer error/deviation from the factory mounting surface specification. There is a huge handle (3rd photo) that sticks out so far that it's impossible to get it flush with the mounting surface on the outside of the door. The Toyota mirror (4th photo) has the top of a much smaller handle that is shaped/beveled about 30 degrees to allow for a proper fit. The seller offered a dodgy deal under the table and…

Hardly installed. They look good, the auto mirrors work well, the headlights and directional indicators work! The heating function could not be tested. There were a few scratches on the left mirror but it's not the end of the world as I know more serious scratches will appear on it sooner or later. My only concern so far is the small gap I noticed at the top of the fairing where the weatherstrip connects to the truck. I was afraid that water would get in there. I will update after a while.

Mirrors match the year and model of my 2013 Tundra Crewmax exactly. Installation was fairly easy. I suggest getting help from someone who knows how to remove door panels, otherwise you'll waste most of your time figuring out how to put the panels back on. If reinstalled incorrectly, there will be road noise in the cabin, and many parts behind the fairing are cheap plastic hardware that are not easy to reinstall and break. Excellent quality. The turn signals and parking lights work great when plugged into my factory outlet. 3 different Toyota dealers stated that the towing mirrors wouldn't work even though I had a factory wiring harness with 10 wires and insisted I buy factory towing mirrors and they also wouldn't work unless they were plugged in. they are quality. After looking for additional mirrors for my 2010 Rock Warrior I pulled the trigger on this pair. I'm trying not to skimp on my truck but it's half the size of the OEM and they are perfect.
