Review on ๐Ÿ”ง DEA A2949 Engine Front Mount by Joseph Campos

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I would keep looking.

The biggest problem is that there isn't enough clearance at the front of the motor so you have about 1/4 inch of material with about 3 inches of material on the aluminum between the two Grind mounts need to climb points. Not a big job, but a nuisance. The OEM has a molded relief on the spacer bracket. You can refer to your old OEM for guidance on how much material needs to be removed. The rubber is a bit stiff so it transmits a bit more vibration, but it seems to soften a bit over time so it goes away. Not bad for the price, but not outstanding. I don't think I would buy it again. Choose one like the OEM so you don't need to customize it.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
