Review on 🎨 General Finishes High Performance Water Based Topcoat, Satin Finish - 1 Quart by David Herman

Great product. I've always been a fan of GF products but this might be my favorite. I've used a few of their products (read my review for conversion polish) and had great results, except for the resume (pretty sure I got a bad gallon of product). I make a lot of recycled barn furniture and this is by far the best product I have ever used. I usually spray through HVLP, apply 2-4 coats of their abrasive sealer (great product) and then 2-4 coats of this HP finish. It builds well and offers a really good chemical resistant finish. The flat surface offers almost no gloss, making the wood look like wood. I hate seeing amazing furniture made from recycled materials and then finished with a shiny product that just doesn't work. As far as I know this product is self sealing and can be used without sealing. I have not tried this product on my own as I have always used abrasive sealer under my finish product and have always had good results. I would highly recommend this product and am on my way to the shop to paint a set of end tables I have just finished for a client.
