I was disappointed with this product. I have one from Hape (turtle) and I love it and jumped to give it to my 2 year old as he blew the other one. I thought this would be a good way to get numbers but the toy doesn't work as well as I had hoped. Here is the main disadvantage. The magnets in the balls are too strong, causing more than one ball to move at a time. This is very frustrating for my son (and me!) as he tries to move one color at a time. (I tested it with another one from Hape and the defect was due to the sphere magnets, not the magnet in the 'handle'). I also wish the colors were better - red and orange look pretty much the same. Why not make a bigger difference or a different color together? I like boards, they move well.
