I've been buying this brand from regular retailers for a year and have never had a problem. The ones I got when I ordered from Amazon were MUCH below the standard I'm used to. I have thick hair but this has never been a problem with my good elastics in the past. The few times I used them I was out in public with my hair up and they just broke and my hair fell out. These bars are very light. NOT IMPRESSED. Did I get a bad batch?
