Let me start by saying how much I LOVE Anker products. I've been using them for over 3 years and have never had any issues with their charging cables other than normal "wear and tear". Unfortunately, tonight I experienced a very strange and seemingly random disruption! I've had this cable for a little over a month, ordered on November 25th. I had no issues with it, charging was lightning fast and there was no sign of a possible issue with the cord. I plugged my phone in tonight and heard a louder "click" than the normal sound the charger makes when it's snug against the phone. I instinctively ripped out the cable and was greeted with an attached image :( I'm by no means trying to dissuade anyone from this company, faulty things can happen with any product. I'm just disappointed that it happened so quickly and happened with the purchase.
